They work differently.
Holidays we plan for
The dates above. Tuition isn't prorated for them and they can't be made up. They're already priced into the year, which is how the flat monthly rate stays flat.
Weather closures
Unplanned, so we handle them the opposite way. No credit or refund, but you get a make up class. Our make up window never expires.
How we decide on weather
We follow the school districts our families actually attend, then check local reporting ourselves. If it isn't safe to drive to us, we're closed.

A closure goes out by email and on Instagram as early as we can call it. Where possible we've matched the academic calendars of every district we serve.
