The Glass House Ball is different from a “traditional” dance recital, it’s a weekend long dance celebration!!! This ticketless event will be held on the top floor of the Tacoma Convention Center, where we have 60,000 sqft (1.4 acres) to host this festival style event showcasing 250+ different dance performances, bounce houses, games, activities, food/drink, parent tailgating, and Disney Princess appearances!

Games + Activities
Glass House Ball has always been about more than the stage, it’s about the space in between. The moments where families connect, dancers unwind, and the energy shifts from performance to just being together.
Our Games + Activities Zone is built for exactly that. Anchored by our Photo Booth (because some of the best moments happen offstage), this area is designed to be easy, open, and ready for whatever the day calls for. You’ll find a rotating mix of classic games like Giant Jenga, cornhole, and other laid-back activities that invite you to jump in, hang out, and stay a while.
It’s not overly structured and that’s the point. Whether you’re killing time between performances, letting kids burn off energy, or just connecting with other families, this is a place to step out of the schedule and into the community.

Bounce Houses
The Glass House Bounce Houses are back and this year, they go even bigger. Featuring 3 incredible inflatables designed for every kind of energy level. Take on the full 90-foot obstacle course: climb, crawl, and push your way through from start to finish. Looking for something a little more intense? Step up to the 21-foot dual-lane vertical dry slide—race a friend to the top, then drop at the same time and see who hits first.
And for our younger dancers we’ve got a 20-foot traditional bounce house ready to go. Simple, fun, and exactly what it should be.
We’re also bringing in a crowd favorite with a twist—a dunk tank filled with balls where dancers get their shot at dunking their teachers. It’s chaotic, it’s loud, and it’s easily one of the most fun moments of the weekend.
It’s the perfect break between performances—burn off energy, reset, and jump right back into the day.
Parent Pre-funk
Whether you’re here for the full weekend or just settling in for the day, Pre-Funk is your home base.
Our 6,000 sq ft pre-function space is designed to give families a place to land, reset, and stay connected throughout the event. Come early, stay late, and make it yours. Set up a comfortable spot, spread out, and enjoy the day without feeling like you’re constantly coming and going.
Post up between performances, and use the space to recharge, socialize, and stay close to the action. It’s the same community energy you loved from Parent Tailgating—just elevated, refined, and built for an indoor experience.
No rushing. No bouncing in and out. Just one place to settle in and enjoy the full Glass House Ball experience together.
Trophies & Treasures
After your dancer wraps their final performance for the weekend, make your way to the Trophy Booth—we’ve put together something special to mark the moment.
This is your dancer’s chance to pause, take it in, and be recognized for everything they brought to the stage. Each dancer will receive a collection of commemorative gifts, including a custom crystal medal, an embroidered event patch, and a hand-selected bouquet of flowers grown locally on a Carnation farm.
It’s not just a quick pickup—it’s a moment. A chance to celebrate the work, the growth, and the performance they just delivered. Take a breath, grab a photo, and let it land before heading out.
Disney Princess
Princesses
Sunday 6/21: 12:45PM–2:15PM
Disney Princesses will be joining us at Glass House Ball from 12:45PM–2:15PM on Sunday, June 21st, bringing a little extra magic into an already unforgettable day.
Throughout the event, they’ll be moving through the space—meeting, greeting, and celebrating alongside your dancers as they step into their moment. Expect live singing, storytelling, and plenty of opportunities for photos, all woven naturally into the flow of the day.
Whether it’s a quick hello, a shared song, or a full princess moment, this is a chance for your dancer to slow down, soak it in, and enjoy something a little special in between performances. Keep an eye out—you never know where they’ll appear next.
